Why Kinker Press is Proud to Support the Inaugural Bourbon & Cigars Event

At Kinker Press, craftsmanship has always mattered.
In a world that moves fast and leans heavily on automation, we have built our reputation around the belief that traditional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality still mean something. That philosophy is one of the reasons I immediately connected with the mission and atmosphere behind Tech For Troops’ Inaugural Bourbon & Cigars event.
On May 22, 2026, supporters from across Virginia will gather at American Legion Post 354 along the James River for an evening centered around premium bourbon, handcrafted cigars, live music, and community, all in support of Veterans transitioning into today’s workforce.
Kinker Press is honored to participate as a featured vendor for this inaugural event.
For decades, Kinker Press has specialized in luxury printing and finishing techniques that preserve old-world craftsmanship. From embossed dies and foil stamping to specialty printing processes that require precision and experience, our work is built around details that cannot be replicated through shortcuts.
Those same values are reflected throughout this event.
There is an appreciation for craftsmanship in every part of the experience. Whether it is a hand-rolled cigar, a carefully aged bourbon, or traditional printmaking techniques that still require skilled hands and patience, there is something meaningful about preserving artistry in a modern world.
That is part of what drew me to this partnership opportunity with Tech For Troops.
Over the years, Kinker Press has had the privilege of producing work connected to the White House, multiple presidential administrations, military organizations, and high-end brands that understand the importance of presentation, quality, and legacy. We have always believed exceptional craftsmanship tells a story long before a word is ever read.
This event shares that same appreciation for excellence and intentionality.
What also stood out to me was the mission behind Tech For Troops. Their organization is helping Veterans and their families gain access to technology, digital skills training, and career opportunities that can make a lasting difference in their lives. Supporting an organization that creates real-world impact while bringing people together through community and craftsmanship made this an easy decision for us.
I believe events like Bourbon & Cigars matter because they create authentic conversations and relationships. They bring together business leaders, community supporters, Veterans, artisans, and people who value quality experiences.
There is something refreshing about an event that slows things down and allows people to appreciate the details.
At Kinker Press, we know the best work is never rushed. It is carefully crafted. Thoughtfully executed. Built with pride and precision.
That mindset is exactly why we are excited to be part of this inaugural event.
We look forward to sharing our work, connecting with attendees, and supporting an evening that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and a meaningful mission.
I encourage anyone who appreciates premium experiences and quality craftsmanship to join us on May 22 for what promises to become one of Richmond’s signature annual events.
